Department of Social
Sciences
carries out teaching and research in fields of
philosophy, political economics, scientific socialism, moral
education, politics, traditional morals and culture,
philosophy of science and technology, leadership and organizational
behavior and studies on current policies. There are 5 faculty
including 2 professors and 3 associate professors. Two are PhDs and
two are Masters. In recent 5 years, the faculty has published over
10 books and textbooks, dozens of papers. The faculty has been
participating in 3 national philosophical and social science
research projects and 4 projects sponsored by NAEA.

of Educational Administration(Institute of Educational Administration) Carries out teaching and research in fields of basic theory of education administration, education reform, educational development strategy & planning, educational policies & regulations, educational systems & structures, educational evaluation, and educational finance, meets the demands of training seminars in NAEA and education development. The faculty of this department includes 1 professor, 2 associate professors and 1 assistant research fellow. Department of School Management
Carries out teaching and research in fields of basic theory of management of higher education institutions, administrative system of higher education institutions, institutions development strategy & planning, teaching & research reform in higher education institutions, student affairs in higher education, administrative psychology in higher education, and technology development in higher education, meets the demands of university leaders¡¯ capacity building. The faculty of this department includes 1professor, 2 associate professors and 4 instructors. Department
of International Education
was founded in 2000 and has 6 faculty including 1 professor, 1 associate professor, 4 lecturers. Two are PhDs, one working on his PhD and two are Masters. The faculty carries
out teaching and research in fields of trends of international higher education management reform and development, reform and development of basic education in China and abroad, American education studies, Japanese education studies, etc. They have been conducting a number of research programs funded by the Ministry of Education, Beijing municipal government, associated research institutions and
