| An overview Carrying out research is one of the core missions of NAEA. In accordance with the demands of the teaching and training, NAEA faculty is actively engaged in scientific research, which results in rich outcomes. They have completed a number of research projects during the periods of the nation¡¯s 6th Five-Year Plan, the 7th Five-Year Plan and the 9th Five-Year Plan in education, including textbooks-compiling task for Million China Principals Training and China University Presidents Training, which are both organized by the Ministry of Education. A series of high quality academic works and articles are published, which include Educational Management Dictionary, Fifty Years of Educational Administration and Management of P. R. China, Jiang Zemin¡¯s Remarks on Education, Education: the Foun  dation for Revitalizing the Nation, Century Report on Reform of China¡¯s Higher Education System, Basic Education: New Perspectives, Proceedings of Chinese-Foreign University Presidents Forum, etc. The article co-authored and titled Facing the New Century and Creating A New Phase for Ideological and Political Education in Higher Education Institutions ¨C A Study of Jiang Zemin¡¯s Remarks on Political Education in Higher Education Institutions was given national award from CCCPC Department of Promotion. The article Implementing the Important Thought of Three-Represents: Leaders Must Maintain A Spirit of Advancing in Tim ewas awarded first prize by China Communist Party Central Committee. Between 2001 and 2003, NAEA applied and was granted 12 research projects from the nation¡¯s 10th Five-Year Plan in education and 2 research projects from the 10th Five-Year Plan in social sciences of Beijing
Municipality. |
