The 6th national training class for directors of county bureaus of education started up at NAEA on October 10, 2003.
On the morning of October 10, the students saw the documentary on Zhaocheng Hu, a Yulu Jiao-typed director of bureau of education, and held a whole meeting. Professor Wenchang Li, vice president, gave a speech. He introduced detailedly the essence of this training class, its fundamental tasks, and its teaching arrangements.
On the afternoon of that day, Peimin Jiang, the national education inspector & the office director for the teaching-supervising group of the MOE, gave a lecture on pursuing the spirit of the national education affairs meeting and promoting actively the reform and innovation of country education. In his report Jiang analyzed in depth the background of the meeting and introduced the whole preparing process for it. He attached much importance to the interpretation of the file named on the Determination to Strengthen Further the Country Education issued by the State Council.
Those directors for county bureaus of education taking part in the training has pointed out uniformly that this training class has been launched at a very chance and the whole teaching planning has been much intensified. In recent years education in China has progresses rapidly. So it should benefit anyone a lot who has opportunity to participate in the training in many aspects, such as improving political and professional diathesis, enhancing the level for policy and decision-making, transforming education concept, correcting education ideas, clarifying education direction, and broadening working thinking.
