China Education Study Group from Graduate School of Education of University of Pennsylvania Visits NAEA

China Education Study Group from GSE UPENN, which consists of 6 doctoral students and 3 master students, under the leadership of Professor Kathleen Hall of Educational Leadership Division, visited NAEA on May 25th. The tour focuses on reform and development on higher education in China's western region, current hot issues and present opportunity and challenge. The training department organized a group of trainees participating in the 23rd Higher Education Middle & Young Cadres` Seminar at NAEA from Yunnan and Xinjiang  to discuss with the guests on reform and development on higher education in China's western region help them get a deeper understanding on it. Yu Jiaqing, Executive Vice President of NAEA, expressed warm welcome to the China Education Study Group from GSE UPENN and answered the questions raised by the students.

The guests expressed their satisfaction to this exchange. They said the discussion helped them understand the higher education as well as the cultural in west China and was positive to the education exchanges between China and the U.S.
