Transformation and Innovation

With the approval from related offices of Ministry of Education, TRANSFORMATION AND INNOVATION: INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP FOR SCHOOL PRINCIPALS was successfully held at Academy of Education Administration (NAEA) between 16 and 19 October 2006. It was organized by the NAEA and iNet (International Network of Education Transformation), the international arm of the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust (SSAT) and with the support of the HSBC bank. About 100 school principals from 14 countries attended the workshop to discuss the transformation and innovation in the world’s education systems.

The workshop took place in plenary sessions and group sessions. Five renowned education specialists from Australia, USA and China were invited to give keynote speech at each plenary session. Principals provided valuable cases studies from each participating country to the workshop, from which they worked out solutions to problems occurred in the education systems and gave suggestions both to principals and policy-makers world- wide.
