Seminar for Diplomat Candidates Closed at NAEA

Sponsored by MOE, the 17th seminar for diplomat candidates is closed at NAEA on 30th November 2006. The 40 participants are respectively from related offices of MOE, affiliated organizations of MOE, some Universities and provincial educational commissions. 
MOE vice minister Dr. Zhang Xinsheng and Madam Li Weihong respectively gave keynote speech and closing remarks to the seminar. Mr. Zhang Lanchun, NAEA executive vice president and a former diplomat, shared his experiences with the participants. 
Seminar of this type has been organized at NAEA for more than ten years, which targets in improving the capability of those who will work at education offices of Chinese Embassies in other countries by attending lectures from invited academic scholars and senior officials; holding discussions with experienced diplomats and paying visits to related offices and international organizations in Beijing. 
The seminar is described “relevant, effective and substantive” by the participants.
