Guests from LFHE Revisited NAEA

　

Accompanied by Dr. William Lee Mitchell, second secretary and Ms. Zhang Jing senior officer of Education Section British Embassy, Professor Robin Middlehurst, director of strategy, research and international activities from Leadership Foundation for Higher Education (LFHE) UK paid a second visit to NAEA on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 and delivered a speech titled “Leadership Building and Quality Management” to part of the on-campus trainees and NAEA faculty. Mr. John Fielden, key associate of LFHE joined the visit.

NAEA Vice President Mr. Niu Wenqi made an opening remark for the speech and held talks with guests about the possible future collaborations between NAEA and LFHE after the speech. 

Professor Robin Middlehurst is also seconded half –time from Kingston University, London. Her main areas of research, teaching and consultancy are concerned with the nature and impact of change in higher education policy and practice with a particular focus on: leadership and leadership development, governance and management, quality assurance and enhancement at national and international levels, ‘borderless higher education’ and international HE strategy. 

Professor Middlehurst first visited NAEA in May 2006.
