The 2008 Michigan-China University Leadership Forum Successfully Concluded

　

The 2008 Michigan-China University Leadership Forum was successfully completed its 14-day mission in USA. 18 Presidents, Vice Presidents or Chairpersons of University Committees from 17 top Chinese universities funded by “985 project” participated in the forum. 
Under the supervision of MOE and the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, this program is organized from May 11-25 by NAEA in collaboration with University of Michigan and its Research Corridor partners, Michigan State University and Wayne State University. During their stay in USA, concentrating on the theme "Building World-Class Public Universities”, the participants attended extensive lectures on public research university administration and enjoyed in-depth communication with their US counterparts from the above three universities, representatives from local government and enterprises. 
This is the second such forum jointly held by NAEA and Michigan University. The previous one was in 2006.
