Overview
National Academy of Education Administration (NAEA) is under the direct jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education (MOE) serving as a unique institution of our country which provides training for educational administrators nationwide.
Nominated by the Ministry of Education and approved by Chairman Mao Zedong NAEA was founded in 1955 with her name as Education Administration Academy. It was closed in 1960 and reopened with approval from the State Council and a new name of Central Academy of Education Administration. In 1991 its name was changed to the present one.
Great importance has been attached to NAEA since its foundation. In the 1950s, Chairman Mao Zedong and other senior leaders of the central government granted a cordial interview to the trainees and took a picture with them. In 1999 President Jiang Zemin offered an inscription for NAEA, which reads, “Endeavor to stress study, political awareness and integrity. Strive to offer good education and training for administrators”.
