NAEA mainly runs 4 types of regular training programs.

Seminar for Senior Leaders. This type of program is for senior leaders of higher education institutions and officals from local education authorities. It consists of several stages of studies with different topics: political studies, theory and practice of higher education or basic education, issues and challenges occurred in and for higher education institution reform and development, and a field study. Programs of this type last from two weeks to 2 months.

Seminar for Middle Managers. This type of program is for middle managers from higher education institutions. They are potential leaders of their institutions. The program consists of several stages of studies with different focuses: political studies; higher education, especially higher educational administration and management; CPC construction, and a field study. Programs of this type last 3 months.

Workshops. Taking into account the central tasks of MOE and meeting demands of educational development and reform NAEA organizes workshops for educational administrators who are responsible for same areas of work.

Senior Workshops. NAEA also organizes workshops for experts from educational authorities and higher education institutions to share their views on educational development both in theory and practice
